Continental Group Heihe Winter Proving Ground officially put into operation

On February 23, Continental Group held the opening ceremony of the Heihe Winter Testing Ground of the Continental Group's Chassis and Safety Systems Division in Heilongjiang Province.

The opening of the Heihe Winter Proving Ground marked Continental's further expansion of its local R&D capabilities and accelerated the process of localization to more effectively meet the growing demand for safety products in the Chinese auto market and improve China’s road safety status.

The Heihe Winter Test Site is surrounded by 7 million square meters of lake area and 30,000 square meters of land. It is the fourth in the world's test track for ABS (Antilock Braking System) and ESC (Electronic Stability Control System) tests. The remaining three are located in the United States, Europe and Japan respectively.

Tests in winter venues can ensure the stability of the car in various driving environments, especially on low friction coefficient roads.

The Chassis and Safety Systems Division is one of the five divisions of the Continental Group, which has established R&D centers in Changchun and Jiading (Shanghai) to conduct automotive application development, system testing and engineering activities to develop and design safety that meets the needs of local customers. product.
