Successful completion of the first drying machine for the Nanjing Engineering Hengli Project in Nanjing

Recently, the stand-alone trial run of the first drying machine (CTA drying unit 423B) of the Dalian Hengli PTA project undertaken by Nanjing Engineering Co., Ltd. was successfully completed.

The dryer cylinder has a length of 34m, an internal diameter of 4.2m and a total weight of 380 tons. It is one of the large-scale core equipments of Dalian Hengli PTA project. The two sides of the dryer's inlet and outlet materials are sealed with a large composite packing seal (square packing + V-type packing), which requires extremely high installation accuracy. This stand-alone test run is performed at the same time with pressure and airtightness. Sealed, pressurized operation test.

The four sets of dryers of this project are installed by Nanjing Engineering Company's equipment branch. The technical requirements for installation and parts are numerous. In the previous period, due to the owners' replacement of the manufacturers, the arrival of the goods was lagging behind, which was more than three months behind the contract schedule. The actual effective installation time was only four months. In the installation stage, due to the incorrect order of arrival, the cylinder of the CTA dryer was first placed in position, and the spiral installation space at its inlet end was narrow, making construction difficult. At the same time, due to manufacturing problems during the installation process, many reworks have severely restricted the progress of the project. In this regard, the project department actively organizes and coordinates, and the equipment branch arranges professionals to promptly install components that have arrived in time, and prepares for uncompleted components in advance. Through the strong organization and coordination of the project department, under the efforts of all employees, overcome various unfavorable factors and ensure the construction efficiency and progress of the four sets of dryers.
