The “Research on Wheel Steels for Heavy-haul Railway Trains and Key Technologies” project has developed heavy-duty wheel hot forming technology and heat treatment technology to effectively improve wheel anti-wear performance, rolling contact fatigue resistance and mitigation of heat damage defects, and has independently developed China's axles weigh 25 to 30 tons of heavy-duty wheels, the quality of which has reached the international advanced level of similar products, with significant economic and social benefits.

“High-speed ultra-fast cooling technology of hot-rolled H-beam steel” developed a high-efficiency ultra-fast cooling device for hot-rolled H-shaped steel production line after breaking through various restrictive links of H-beam online control cooling technology to ensure the production process of H-shaped steel No significant deformation occurs in the machine and the straightening process requirements are met. The project has independent intellectual property rights and has applied industrialized production. Experts believe that the research has reached the international advanced level.

The “Research and Development of Cold Work Reinforced Non-quenched and Tempered Steels for Grades 8.8 to 10.9 Fasteners” has developed a complete set of production technology for cold strengthened non-quenched and tempered steel wire rods for high-strength fasteners with independent innovation and built the first in the world. Single-line, multi-channel flexible link high-speed wire demonstration production line; the use of non-quenched and tempered steel production of fasteners, can save the annealing process before cold crucible, quenching and tempering process after molding; for the first time developed a fine crystal pearlite type (8.8, Grade 9.8), granular bainite type (10.9 grade) cold working non-hardened and tempered cold heading steel products and methods of use. The overall level of production technology and technology has reached the leading domestic and international advanced level.

“Development of Production Process for Fine Grained Carbon Hot-Rolled Bars in High-Speed ​​Bar Production Lines” adopts independently developed critical austenite zone controlled rolling and new cold-rolling controlled cooling technologies. It was the first in China to achieve industrial production of fine-grained carbon. Demonstration production line of hot-rolled steel bars successfully developed HRB400 fine-grained carbon hot-rolled steel bar with high performance-price ratio and achieved industrial mass production, and obtained corresponding invention patents. This new process is at the leading level in China.

The “Q345-Q420MPa Grade High-strength Weathering H-shaped Steel Product Development” project successfully solved the technical problems of the high incidence of weather-resistant steel beam blank continuous casting and bonded steel leakage and the high incidence of surface cracks of shaped blanks, meeting the mass production requirements of defect-free weathering and hot rolling. Requirements for H-beams: Successfully developed hot-rolled H-beams with high toughness and high weathering resistance of 345MPa and 420MPa grades, and reached the leading level of domestic high-strength and weather-resistant profiles.

The development of a high-strength 400-500MPa class high-strength series seismic rebar has successfully developed a series of 400-500MPa high-strength series seismic rebars, forming a complete set of innovative technologies for the production of high-strength series seismic rebars using low-cost production processes.
