PetroChina Lanzhou Lubricant Research and Development Center won the second prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award
On January 18, 2013, an excellent news came from the Great Hall of the People in Beijing, and the Luzhou Lubricant Research and Development Center “Development and Industrial Application of High-grade Series Engine Compressor Oil Complex †won the 2012 National Second Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress. This is the third time that the Lanzhou Lubricant Research and Development Center won the National Science and Technology Award for the fourth consecutive year, and it has become one of the rare scientific research units in Gansu Province and even China that can continue to innovate. Lanzhou Lubricant Research and Development Center is a subordinate research center of Lubricating Oil Company of China National Petroleum Corporation. It was formerly known as the Lanzhou Branch of the Ministry of Petroleum Sciences established in 1960. So far it has gone through 52 years of development. Independent innovation is the source of continuous progress in R&D in Lanzhou, which determines the strength and stamina of the center's development. In recent years, the Lanzhou R&D Center has proposed the "2212" research and development strategy, and gradually formed its own core technology in the fields of additive single agent development, gear oil, and internal-combustion engine oil product development. In 2009, “Gear oil anti-wear additives, compound preparation technology and industrial application†won the second prize of national technical invention; in 2011, “high-end product research and development and industrial application of cycloalkyl heavy oil†won the national science and technology The first prize for progress; in 2012, the “development and industrial application of high-grade series of internal-combustion engine oil compounds†won the second prize of national scientific and technological progress. In four years won the national prize, so far, the only industry.
