Analysis of the development of China's pump industry in 2011

China is an important supplier of pumps. The export volume of pumps accounts for about one-tenth of the world's exports. One-quarter of the entire United States imported pump equipment comes from China, and one-fifth of imported pump components come from China. China is also an important pump market. Pumps used in China account for 1/10 of the world's pump market. According to the Asian Pump Network, the annual growth rate of the pump industry demand is about 6% in the next 10 years, of which the demand in China will accelerate.

Water pumps and valves, as indispensable mechanical equipment in the environmental protection water treatment process, will effectively promote China’s environmental protection construction, help the “Twelfth Five-Year Plan” and implement a new type of industrialization development path, in accordance with the direction of a resource-saving and environment-friendly society. Development, the next 20 years, the world's investment in energy-saving industries will be nearly 7.6 trillion US dollars, of which China will account for 40%, reaching nearly 20 trillion yuan. This undoubtedly means that the environmental protection industry of energy-saving pump valves is entering an "unprecedented" development opportunity. As an important part of promoting green and low-carbon development, pump valves and fluid machinery will create an excellent opportunity for market intervention for Chinese and foreign companies.
