"Silicone and Agriculture" International Conference Held in Beijing
On September 14th, commissioned by the "Organization of Silicon and Agriculture" International Organization Committee, sponsored by the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, the Institute of Agricultural Resources and Regional Planning of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, the Chinese Society of Plant Nutrition and Fertilizer, and the Leading Biological Agriculture Co., Ltd. jointly organized the project. The 5th "silicon and agriculture" international conference was held in Beijing. The theme of the conference is "sustainable development of silicon and agriculture". Six topics will be focused on the determination of silicon elements, silicon manufacturing processes and standards, and the impact of silicon on grain yield, quality, and environment. According to Professor Liang Yongchao, the chairman of the conference and the Institute of Agricultural Resources and Agricultural Regional Planning of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, silicon fertilizer is made from industrial slag such as steel slag and yellow phosphorus slag, or silicon ore, which is not only low in cost, but also capable of controlling soil.
