A new beginning of human induced pluripotent stem cells
Singapore scientists have developed techniques for extracting human induced pluripotent stem cells from a drop of blood from a human finger. At a press conference Thursday, the agency's (A*STAR) technicians said that this new technology could potentially increase the number and diversity of donors and promote the establishment of large human induced pluripotent stem cell banks.
Ultra thin tempered glass light box, also known as the pull-out picture light box:
Side light guide design, uniform light; Aluminum alloy frame, tempered glass panel, not easy to scratch, not yellowing, and beautiful without lighting. When the light box is lit, the surroundings are bright and beautiful; Ultra thin: the thickness is only 9mm-11mm; LED light source: more safe and energy-saving, longer life, easy to change pictures; Convenient installation: mainly desktop, hanging and wall mounted; It is applicable to various high-end places: clubs, hotels, bars, restaurants, chain stores, wedding photography studios, interior decoration, company signs, gift displays, window displays, exhibits, home decoration photo frames and other places.

The current method of collecting human induced pluripotent stem cells is invasive current collection ie cells are harvested from bone marrow or skin, which results in a reduction in the number of donors. Although stem cells can also be generated from blood cells, this usually requires a lot of blood.
Scientists at the IMCB discovered for the first time that a drop of blood is also sufficient to reconstitute human induced pluripotent stem cells. Because these cells display properties very similar to human embryonic stem cells, they are an invaluable research basis. This technique greatly increases the efficiency of human induced pluripotency. Donors can collect their own finger pricks and they can be sent to the laboratory for storage and reconstitution of human induced pluripotent stem cells.
IMCB Executive Director, Professor Wan Jin of Hong Kong, said: “The study of human induced pluripotent stem cells is now very popular because it has been used as a potential research model for human diseases and regenerative medicine.â€
