·The four major car companies in Europe talk about the Chinese auto market: there are concerns but not pessimistic

According to "Nihon Keizai Shimbun" reported on September 18th, the Frankfurt International Auto Show opened on September 15th. The operators of major European automakers accepted interviews with the Nihon Keizai Shimbun and discussed their views on the Chinese market.
Renault CEO Ghosn:
I am not pessimistic about the Chinese market. The Chinese auto market has continued to grow rapidly and it has not been a shocking thing to turn to steady growth. The situation in the Chinese market is really bad today, but this is only temporary. 2016 will be better. It will not discuss narrowing the plan for China (after Nissan, Renault will also start local production in China in 2016).
Daimler Chairman Cai Che:
The Chinese economy has slowed down and the auto market has stagnated. But our situation is different. (It has continued to maintain a high growth rate of 40% year-on-year.) It is expected that sales in September will also increase significantly.
The expansion of the store network and communication with customers are also progressing smoothly. It has not fallen into the situation of excess equipment, and will not adjust the local production capacity plan in the future.
Audi Chairman Steader:
China is considered to be in the “new normal” and the economy is in the process of restructuring and adjustment. The impact of the downturn in new car sales will also affect high-end cars. From the year-on-year growth rate, it has increased by 26% in the first half of 2014, but it has grown at zero in 2015. Perhaps it will temporarily stagnate, but in China's new car market, the proportion of high-end cars is only 9%. From the perspective of the span of 5 to 10 years, China still belongs to the growth market. Or it will resume growth after 1-2 years. Investment plans in China will not change. We have already overcome the financial crisis and are able to cope with the challenge.
Tuvale Citroen CEO Stewart:
Tavares: The Chinese auto market is undoubtedly in a difficult situation due to the economic situation. But don't feel anxious. Economic fluctuations exist in any country. When the January-June financial report released in July was released, we forecast that the overall Chinese market in 2015 will increase by about 3% from the previous year. Although it is unable to achieve the previous 2-digit growth, in the long run, China is still a growth market. In addition, the investment plan will not change.
The depreciation of the renminbi is good for China’s exports. PSA Peugeot Citro龙n has a capital cooperation relationship with China Dongfeng Motor. This will be an opportunity for the two companies to jointly expand exports to Southeast Asia. Markets such as Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia have great potential and hope to open up these markets.
