According to the Ministry of Commerce website quoted the “Manila Today Banner†reported by the Philippines, according to local exclusive dealers, Chinese car maker Jiangling Motors plans to produce automotive parts in the Philippines. The dealer said that they plan to start production of general parts, and after about 6-8 months, they will try to produce parts exclusively for Jiangling Motors. If sales increase, it will attract investors to increase production capacity for Jiangling Motors to produce parts and components. Prior to this, Jiangling Motors had invested 20 million pesos in Philippines to build a final assembly line, which is expected to be ready for production in May.
