Continental Group's Wuhu Parts Factory opened in 2015

Continental Group has announced that Continental Auto Body Electronic System (Wuhu) Co., Ltd. has officially opened, and it has also set up a second factory in Wuhu, Anhui Province. Initially, the mainland invested 33 million Euros in the new plant to purchase land and build factories. By the first quarter of 2015, the new plant will be fully operational to meet the growing demand for components in China and the global market.

The new plant is located in the Wuhu Economic and Technological Development Zone in Anhui Province. It is only 10 kilometers away from the existing factory, covers an area of ​​about 120,000 square meters, and the first-phase workshop area is 46,000 square meters, including the production and operation department, R&D center, laboratories and warehouses. Mainly for the instrument and human-machine interface business unit services. By the end of 2015, the number of new factory employees will reach 1,500, including about 215 R&D engineers. By the end of 2015, 42 production lines will be built.
