The first Sino-American "hybrid" diesel engine in Hefei off the assembly line


Recently, the first MaxxForce diesel engine was off the assembly line in Hefei, marking the official start-up of Anhui Jianghuai Navistar's new production base and the products entering the mass production phase.

According to reports, the new Jianghuai Navistar base has an annual production capacity of 200,000 diesel engines. The currently mass-produced products include three series of diesel engines: JAC2.8L (4DA1), MaxxForce3.2L, and MaxxForce4.8L. The JAC2.7L and MaxxForce 7.2L diesel engines will also be put into production soon. In the future, JAC Navistar may introduce 9.3 to 13 liters of diesel engines and become a full-power diesel engine manufacturer covering 2.7 to 13 liters of displacement.

It is reported that Jianghua Navistar has a total investment of 1.8 billion yuan. Each of Jianghuai Automotive and Navistar has a 50% shareholding. The company is based in China. While meeting domestic demand, one-third of its products will be available in the international market. .
