(1) Management regulations

6. For the storage of tailings reservoirs, such as uranium mines, which have radioactive or harmful tailings, which may cause extremely serious damage to the downstream environment after the accident, the flood control standards shall be improved. If necessary, the flood control at the later stage may be designed according to the maximum possible flood.
7. When the harmful components in the effluent from the tailings dam exceed the standard, the intercepting dam and the seepage recovery pumping station should be installed downstream of the dam to discharge the leaked water or use it after reaching the standard.
8. When the tailings water discharged downstream is not up to the national industrial “three wastes” discharge standard, the tailings water treatment system should be designed.

(2) Processing method

1. All solid (liquid) wastes with useful value must be treated and recycled to the utmost extent. For the stacking of toxic solid (liquid) waste, it is necessary to take measures to prevent damage such as waterproofing, anti-seepage and anti-leakage, and set signs of hazardous waste.

It can also realize the development and utilization of "resources" in the overall deep processing, including non-metallic mineral utilization, tailings brick making, tailings sand aerated concrete, underground filling, and construction sand.
